I am a certified professional coach with more than 18 years of experience in educational leadership. I focus on personal growth, leadership, communication and relationship development for professional leaders, educators and managers.

The training I provide is based upon the conclusion that organisations need a new kind of leadership that puts human values first – a model of leadership defined as the participative, servant leadership model, facilitates each person’s creative capacities, the free expression of their individuality and their active participation in problem-solving and goal-setting.

Greg Larsen is a multi-owner SME entrepreneur, investor, business advisor, and number one international bestselling author. Greg has over 25 years’ experience owning and leading multi-industry companies to national and international sales growth through customer-centric values, building upon technology, strategic brand positioning, and internal financial and operational excellence. Greg’s roles have included business owner, CEO, CFO, and COO positions, which give him the ability to work across all areas of a business model. He also has a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

Greg owns several businesses, including Dynamic Sport Limited, and Le Tissier Eyewear.

His International consulting businesses are Greg Larsen Limited, and he has been a director and shareholder of a national advisory company, Advantage Business Limited.  He has an investment company, Larsen Investments Limited, that has been investing and building a residential property portfolio for over 20 years.

In 2019, Greg also became the founding director and shareholder of Immersion Group Limited, a multi-person international consulting services business.

I believe that communication is critical to unlocking the core issues and delivering value added outcomes and have the ability to converse with staff and directors from all levels and segments of any business.

In all cases with all companies small or large my method of discovery is founded on Critical Path Solutions.  Simply put  (CPS) is a project management technique that requires mapping out every key task that is necessary to complete a project. It includes identifying the amount of time necessary to finish each activity and the dependencies of each activity on any others.

I have found many business owners are ready to exit their business but are not sure how to go about it to get the best possible return.  Developing an exit strategy is one of my strengths.

Having rich heritage in the FMCG supplier space means Jonathan has extensive experience in a variety of commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations & Strategy) as well as functional exposure to Finance, HR and Supply Chain. He has worked for AB InBev, PepsiCo & RJR Nabisco in the UK and RB, L’Oreal & Countdown within NZ.

Critically the roles he executed exposed him to a variety of challenges and success with Customer and as a Leader (first and second line teams). Prior to self employment he also worked in the retail space as a Merchandise manager for Countdown (Woolworths NZ) so has a great insight to the customer engagement experience.

Prior to leaving the UK Jonathan competed an MBA at The University of Bradford, a world ranked business school. His management project ‘Asian market entry strategy for the UK Press Association’ highlights his dexterity and flexibility. While he is no academic he did embrace the opportunity to teach part time (under graduate) at UNITEC majoring on ‘Integrated Marketing Comms’ and ‘Strategic Thinking for Managers’.

As an advisor his ‘WHY’ is clear – to Create Alternate Positive Futures for those he works with. Jonathan has long been interested in the work of Joseph Campbell and ‘The Hero’s Journey’. He partners businesses at a practical and pragmatic level (‘nobody is looking for a formulaic list of tasks they haven’t got time to do) and having done much personal development takes a holistic approach to working with owners and their business.
